Ticket Auto Close In The JS Help Desk!

Ticket Auto Close

From your admin dashboard, navigate to the Admin Dashboard > Dashboard Menu > Configurations > Ticket Settings > Ticket Auto Close. All details about ticket auto-close and how the admin manages them are discussed here. You can configure the auto-close period in the plugin configurations. For example, you might set tickets to auto-close after 5 days of no response.

When an admin or agent responds to a ticket, the system waits for the user’s reply. If the user does not respond within the defined timeframe (for example, 5 days), the ticket is automatically marked as Closed. This helps maintain efficiency by clearing out tickets that no longer need attention. For instance, if a customer issue has already been resolved but they didn’t confirm back, the system won’t leave the ticket open forever; it will auto-close it.
